This is totally common. Changing colors is a normal thing, but sometimes can be caused by How dark the tank is, stress, and also differnt things that you might have done recently.
Sometimes my frogs are dark... while the next day, they are a bright green.
It is really, really hard to sex FBT. I have had mine for about 1-2 years, and only know that I most definetely have 2 males, but the other two is still a mystery. If you have eggs appear that is that most definit sign taht you have a female in there!
