Pothos plants are always a really good choice. They do just fine in moist and dark environments. They also vine and leaf out quite well, so you're tank will have plenty of hiding places for your gecko in no time at all.
You can get a big tangle of them at any greenhouse or garden center. Wal-Mart has them for $7.00 or something.
Ferns look nice, but with a big healthy gecko, they are probably going to get mashed pretty quickly. Just something to think about.
