yeah, good advice. That said, I've had them in the same tank for almost three years now and there has been no problem, and frankly I'm getting tired of having to explain/defend myself every time I say anything about it. My frogs sleep on the toad, bathe with the toad and hop around with the toad. They love the toad, as far as I can tell (and as far as a frog can love). If the toad is not in the same enclosure, they stay hidden all the time, even at night, and it is hard to get them to eat, etc. If there were going to be a problem, there would have been long ago. I did at one point add a baby CWD to the enclosure they were in, and that was definitely a mistake. The dragon was an impulse buy, I had never had any reps other than anoles (that I kept with the frogs and toad with NO problems for 2.5 years) and I believed the guy at the pet store like an idiot because he had always seemed so knowledgeable about everything else. I told him everything that was in the tank and he said it would be fine. Not only was the little guy sick when I brought him home, sharing water with the toad soon killed him before I could even get him to a vet. I removed the toad, but it didn't make any difference. So, yeah, I know that they are toxic and shouldn't be kept with most other herps. However, my frogs, at least, do just fine with him in the enclosure with them.

Oh, and as for needing to wear gloves to touch GTF's yeah, it keeps your oils off of their skin, but it isn't going to hurt them to touch them. They are not as delicate as other tree frogs. All you need to do is keep your hands clean and wet so that they do not get dry from being handled.
