you need to wear gloves when handling any amphibian, there skin may be tough but it is still permiable, and all wetting your hands will do is make the salts and oils from your hand easyer to absorb. ask any good vet or amphibian expert and they will say the same thing.
as for your FBT and frog mix, i understand you get anoyed with all the comments, but it is not a very clever mix, and it does leave you open to an aful lot of questions/comments/suggestion. i also think that the reason things hide when you take the toad out is because of the disturbance it causes, not because they miss him or are sad hes gone, frankly that is a very nieve idea to believe that.
this thread has gone well of the plot so i will not be returning, have made my points and gave my views, if you take nothing from them thats your desicion.
