I was not saying that it is not in ALL of the type I silicones. I was saying that I don't believe it is in the Window and Door GE Silicone type I. What you are saying could very well be true, but I have examined the tubes for all three (type I kitchen and bath, type I window and door, and type II [which I believe comes in kitchen and bath AND window and door, like type I does]), and the window and door says NOTHING about any mildew repellant, whereas the other do. I sent off an email to GE just a bit ago to end the debate for good.

Here is the text of the email I sent, I will post the reply when I get it:
Hello,
We have a debate going on a forum I am part of about your GE silicones, type I and II. There are a couple of people that say that type I contains the Bioseal that is in the type II. I have noticed that the kitchen and bath says it has mildew protection, but the Window and Door does not. So, do BOTH types of the type I contain the mildew repellant, or does only the kitchen and bath have it? Both are completely safe once cured, correct? Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Meghan
Please don't think that I am out to prove you wrong, I just want to know for sure. I think that getting a reply in text is a better way to say yes or no, because it can be simply copied in it's entirety. Hope I get a reply soon!
