Hi,
I am a new memeber from here in Ireland, I would be delighted if other memebers could send me pic's and advice as to how best keep Fire Salamanders, I would like to keep these and want to create the best set up.

Default re newt set up

your newt should have lots of nice deep water. It should be about 3 in. deep. Also at some pet stores you can get little patches of moss. put it on some rocks or some substrate. If you keep your tank nice and humid it will grow very nicely and your newt will love it. Keep him in at least a 20 galon tank.

I've got a firebelly newt too, and I've been able to keep him and his friends happy in just a 20 gal aquarium with some land
