I am just using an exoterra mini terrarium pump. I have it accessible underneath a piece of slate at the top of the waterfall. It does not have a huge amount of flow, but it is enough to keep the water moving.
I don't know how much you like your slate on the edges of your water feature but you can go to an arts and crafts store and get a chunk of "earth clay" that you can use to mold your waterscape.
Also, do you have an reptiles or amphibians in there?
yeah, we have darts in there, we had to change the water feature a little bit and add rocks to the pond so that we dont have accidental death. Thanks for the tip, we will look into "earth clay" for our next one.
I like how you put gravel between the FB and the glass.. Did you use anything to keep the gravel from eroding down into your pond?
and is that a red krinkle in the front left of your tank? that plant grows like crazy in my terrarium.. I even keep some alive completely submerged in my aquarium.
where are you located Whitesarana?
I get mine at Home Depot, in the lighting section. Its called 'light diffuser' and comes in 2'x4' sheets. Also called plastic 'egg crate'.
Would you be able to submit a pic of your filter and the slate slab? I'm also attempting to build a vivarium for my Fire Belly newts and my mystery snails
