Default Peacock Fern, Umbrella Plant, and Frog Moss

A new story entry has been added:

Peacock Fern, Umbrella Plant, and Frog Moss

Quote:
I bought some plants for my terrarium. A Peacock Fern, an Umbrella Plant(peace lilly), and some dry frog moss that is suppose to grow if you place it in the soil and water it. The fern and the other plant I bought are in this clear gel stuff in this container.. When do I put the actual plant into the soil? Or do I? Any help will be appreciated.

i would try to remove the gel or whatever is on your plant before putting in with your pets. much of that stuff contains chemicals that will help the plant but kill your pets...i started with planting in tupperware then moved into a bigger tank, i built in a drainage system so the plants are now right in the tank growing nice and big...if you are growing live moss be sure to grow it as big as you need before putting it in your tank, b/c too much light with stop the moss growth...hope this
helps!
