Default Problem with chameleon's eye!!!!!NEED HELP NOW!

My new Fischer's cham has an eye problem. I left for my parents house on Saturday morning at around 9:15 and just got home at 6:45 on Sunday evening. I misted heavily before leaving and got my roommate to mist lightly in the evening on saturday. Temp is at 75 deg and holds pretty steady at that during the day. 78 was the highest it's reached yet according to my therm. nighttime drops to about 68 and humidity holds 75% in-between mistings due to the waterfall. Pics are attached and I can't tell if it's something in the eye or if it's the eye (or what's left of it) it's self. I'm looking for a herp vet in denton but there don't seem to be many. too late today anyway but may have to take it into dallas tomorrow. Any ideas on what I could do to help it? Will it be able to feed with only one eye or will that throw off it's aim? The eye was not cloudy or anything yesterday morning. Looked completely normal. Any ideas on what happened or what could have caused it?

Does the eye actually appear to be damaged? From the pics, I'm guessing he has something in his eye and is squinching his eye closed because whatever it is is bothering him. However, it may be that I just can't tell from the pics what's really going on.

That's what it was. He dislodged it himself after a heavy misting. Still favoring the eye a bit but it seems to be getting better.

That's great news! However, do keep an eye on that eye for the next few days, just to make sure it doesn't get infected from being scratched.

Hang in there!
