Default where to find egg crate?

Hello all,
I'm new to the world of vivariums but can't wait to get mine set up. I was thinking the whole false bottom idea would work quite well, but I can't seem to find a place to purchase egg crate. If not I guess a layer of gravel will do just fine, but it will be my first vivarium so any suggestions and tips are appreciated.
Thanks.

egg crate is actually the light diffuser you'd see if you looked up at the fluorescent light in many elevators. They're sold in sheets of 48" x 24". I get mine at Home Depot (aisle 32) for around 11 bucks. Comes is white silver chrome and gold chrome. I always go with the white. Use a pair of longnose pliers to break off sections to cut it down to your tank's size.
