How should i do the drainage? Should i put a tube in there? is there any ideas? should i have like a<n> Over fill type drain? Thanx Again

Default Walk-out

Also What should a Walk-out Contain. From tad pole to Froglet... could i use Expand Foam and make like a Large pool with a Ramp to ground? anyone done this before?

for drainage you could go one of several ways, and it mostly depends on the size of the tank.

for smaller tanks, you could setup a siphon with aquarium air line tubing and have a valve in it. when you want to drain water, just open the valve. some people also just use a turky baster to just suck water out of the viv threw a small opening (or the pond if its part of the drainage layer).

for a larger viv, you could install a bulkhead and overflow drain and have a resevoir undernieth the viv for the water to drain into. if you have a water feature, you could also put the pump for it in the resevoir.



as for the walk out thing. a pond in the viv generally should be easily accessible so that any frogs in thier can get out easily, young or old.

Depending on you design you could add a rear bulkhead and check valve for drainage.
