Default Powering a pc fan

Hi all!
Been perusing the site for a few weeks now.
Just thought it was time to say hi and ask a few questions

I'm taking one side of my 3 piece entertainment center, removing some shelves and converting the space into a vivarium for some crested geckos.
Dimensions are approx L22xW16xH32.

I was wondering how you guys power your PC fans?

also,

I've got a home made melamine cage I plan on converting to a vivarium.
I was planning on puting a small pond and waterfall but wasn't sure if the mealmine would have to be lined with acrylic.

Do you guys know if melamine is waterproof if I seal all the joints and seams?

Even better would be to get a fan that runs on 12V and get a universal A/C adapter with selectable voltage from 1.5V -> 12V this way you will have speed control by selecting the right voltage.

You will have to match up the fans output Milli amps and voltage/current to a wall transformer. If your having a hard time find some we do sell them at our site just contact me. I would be very carefull with builting a vivarium out of this material its not made to hold up with water and hig humidity it will swell.
