Hey Pufferfan-looks great!!! So you are going to have both the filter and the pump right? Why are you using both? I am a total noob when it comes to water features and I going to pester anyone with questions that has one!!!!

Did you use Silicone I or II?

Yeah its just silicone white and black i used about 6 different shades of grey.

Yes both filter and pump.

The reason i am using the pump is to circulate water from the right side to the left side. The filter filters the water and keeps it clean.

If i didn't have the pump the water on the left side of the tank would become stagnant.

And i used silicone II

The hole is done and i sprayd some foam in there carved it out and re siliconed it i picked up a small pump and it actualy gives a good current all the way down the tank im hoping it will work well enough.

also i got the heater that is inside the filter. its rated for 2-5 gallons, you dont get to set the temp you just plug it in ... i hope it works out okay.

whats next?:

Sand
filter media
aquarium salt
crabs
bb gobys

You've actually given me quite an idea for our aquarium... I could do something like this and make a sort of shallower pool near the top for fry, that way they don't get eaten. If I decide to do it, I'll post pics, but it may be a while before I get to it. I'm hoping to start a new job soon. YAY, I'll finally have a life! lmao
