Very nice setup. What kind of Moss/Ferns did you use there? I cant tell. Im currently looking for a nice ground cover moss for my Vivarium. Also nice work on the stand.

Im not sure about the plant names...

Taking the advice of the folks on this board, I just went down to the garden center and wandered around for an hour. i found a section that had these plants in 2 inch pots, but they were so small no one bothered to label them.

as far as ground cover, im off right now to wander the woods in search of some local moss...since no one will ship plant material to Canada :P

Im gonna try a chopped up moss slurry method i read about on a bonsai tree site....ill let you know how it goes

VERY nice . I love your stand. I wish I could afford such nice wood for mine! The vive looks great too. Awesome job.

lol, that's expensive to me! We generally end up lowering the food budget when I buy stuff for the herps.

Hi all, my first post here after lurking for quite some time so hello.

I love the dual waterfall effect in this viv, how is it achieved? I can see the two lines coming in for the waterfalls, is there a pump in the bottom pond that circulates the water back up behind the background and splits the flow at the top?

Thanks, apologies for the newbie question but I've never done anything lke this before and I want to make sure it's done right when I do!

well, since this photo ive torn the whole thing apart and started over. i was using a false bottom with 2 small pumps for each water fall. problem was...once i put the subsrate in it invariably fell through the cracks around the perimeter and clogged the pumps.
