took me a good long while to figure that out myself! I even had to ask what the 0.0.0 pet species thing meant.

Does anyone use an ultrasonic misting system with their herp vivarium? any suggestions regarding this matter? Also, has anyone developed a solution to preventing fogging of the front glass pane other than double glazing?

I have settled on the mist king I think unless someone knows why I shouldn't? What about removing excess heat? I am concerned that will be my biggest challenge... does misting affect the temperature? I am considering some sort of coller for the water table... any ideas? Am I posting things right? Never been on a forum before... (etiquette?) Thanks a million.

If you have true mist and not water drops then yes you can use your misting system to cool off your viv if you couple the mist with fans. I was looking to find a way to cool my viv also and actually found a way to use a small water cooler unit (the ones the large bottle of water goes on top of ) with the element part submerged in a compartment in my sump to cool the water and also cool the viv. I didn't find it very efficient and I think there's better results to be had with misting combined with fans blowing at the same time. Reduces the temp in the viv quite fast.

Also, just having a fan push air against the front glass will keep it humidity-free.

Excellent! Thanks. I found a nice dual stage temperature controller I will use to control a sump heater and a fan About the fan across the front pane... would I use a second low volume fan just for that? Oh so much to consider (I love that!)
