Well I cleaned out my 20g tank thats been some what of a grow tank for a while.
Went to home depot and bought a few tubes of GE II in black, a can of GS and some egg crate.
The substrate is medium aquarium gravel, egg crate, 2 layers of fiberglass screen, coco husks, and sphagnum moss.
I siliconed and GS'ed a piece of tubing that runs to the bottom of the tank so I can do water changes easily if needed. I didnt want to have to take the whole thing apart just to drain the water, and didnt want to drill the tank.
So far, adding the coco husks to the siliconed GS has been the hardest part.
Live moss collected near my house. Washed in warm water and a few teaspoons of bleach. Nice little micro plants growing in it, and small grass.
Also mounted a few cryptanthus broms to my piece of cork bark. Not bad for about 24 hours of work total.
Time for all the pics.
Enjoy.
