How low does the tank temp get at night? if it drops below 65 I would worry but 65-68 should be ok. I would get an extra opinion on this besides mine or look up PDF temp ranges Im not an expert on this topic but, I think 65 at night should be ok.

Hi,
I live in the Pacific Northwest and have Tincs and Imitators and keeping tanks warm can be an issue in the winter. The tank temps can dip at night down to mid 65-68 but the temp comes back up during the day. Most do well with room temps 70's

There is a very good book on dart frogs called "Posion Dart Frogs" by Amanda and Greg Sihler. this is a very good book on the subject you can find it TFH.com.

I would be worried if the temp get too close to 60 below 60 would be not be good. Temps in the mid to upper 70's is best (75-78). If you are worried you can put a heating pad under the tank to warm it up. I have one tank that I thought was too cool but when I move the probe around the tank to get temps there were warm and cool areas in the tank, so the frogs can find the temp they want.

65 at night is not a problem at all. The enclosure will hold in some heat from when the lights are on, and it usually stays warmer than regular room temps. Below 60 is starting to get cold.

My mantellas are from the highlands of madagascar and really want those low temps at night. the care sheets available tell the story on where each frog comes from and how it influences the needed temps. I have trouble keeping the viv under 78 during the day cause these mountain frogs really don't like that heat.
