Default My D. pumilio 'bastimentos' sing! Woo-hoo!!

My little guy has started singing!!!!
I can't believe it. THis is my first dart frog, and therefore the first time I hear one sing in person! Im totally psyched!! He did it for about 1 minute, but I couldn't find him to see him do it.
Woo-hooo!!!!!

Oh and this is what he looks like when hes not singing:

hehe... probably not... I've heard mine call like that too... He must have been super excited because the female was so close by

here's a different call, when he's pissed off and agressive... that was after I played a recording of another male from a different viv

Video Clip

he starts off with a bit longer calls, then goes into the quick ta-ta-ta

I saw some really nice basti's at the last hamburg show but they were a little on the expensive side for me. Sooner or later i will get myself some of those, they look awesome.

P.S. Tindomul1of9 > it has been 6 months since you started this thread, have you aquired a female yet?
