Default Freshly morphed baby leucomela

This guy just finished absorbing his tail few days ago. A bit blury, this guy would not stay in one place. Isn't 'it' cute?!

Awwwww, that is cute. Congrats!!! How difficult was the whole process of raising them? I hope he appreciates the efforts and doesn't turn into a little ingrate.

It wasn't difficult, collect the eggs, feed the tadpole, morph the tadpole and voila !

how hard is it raising froglets. i don't have any poison dart frogs yet, as i'm waiting until my vivarium is completely finished and established as a habitat before i buy them, but i am strongly considering d. leucomelas.

i think i would want froglets so i get as much out of their lifespan as possible, but i wouldn't want to if i couldn't feed or care for them because of their size or vulnerability. any advice?

They're not hard to keep. Make sure you have the right temp. moist environment and feed them every few days.

Hardest part (in the beginning) is keeping the fruit fly supply on hand at all times. Master the art of fruit fly making first and the rest is easy
