Site suggestions

Well my 2 cents would be something i was planing on doing soon enough myself anyhoo, but you may have a better idea then i to go about it.

I would like to see a FAQ section that would direct new people to great posts or a page made up on your own that would tell them the basics on setting up a Vivarium such as

Background FAQ
False Bottom FAQ
Lighting FAQ
Plumbing FAQ

Etc... Ive gotten lost looking for theads ive responded to and god knows trying to find out how to make a Simple GS background or FB may be a daunting task for a new member seeing the flood of new threads or the mass of older ones you have to scroll through picking apartone responce from another to come to a conclusion, or simply waiting for somebody to pop online to help.. i dunno, would be a place to go when nobodys home. Sound Silly? Just trying to avoid answering the same questions over and over, not that i dont like to help but i have a few repys copy'd in my note pad lol

you know that as far as the special type of threads you guys are mentioning you can write those up and let me know when you are done and i can then either sticky them or make them an announcement depending on what is more appropriate and those are all great ideas especially the FAQ ones and as far as the conjoining the paldarium viv and terrarium sections i donot believe i can do that but we can always bring it up to marty

Alrighty i can start working on a FAQ page this weekend, but im only planing on including the most basic info on how to get things you need to start up a complete natural vivarium. If the user wishs for a more advanced route thay can turn to the forums to discuss. I do Plan on PMing some people for there what i see as great knowedge in some areas, if you have a problem with being included just let me know and ill adjust my PM list to suit.

Ok lol, this is a much bigger task then i gave it credit for at 5 am, Whos up for proof reading and aiding in the compleation of this FAQ im working on? soooo much more info then i first thought of when comeing up with this idea and it, even as a basic layout, grows larger by the second...

PM it to me, and I will take a look at it. I cannot promise a very prompt response at this time, but I will proofread and edit for you if you like, then include anything I think should go into it. My husband says I have been spending WAAAAYYYY too much time on the computer, and I just got a new job!!!! YAY for me, lol... So, I won't be on the forum as often as I have been. I will still try to keep up with everything (and I'm sure I'll continue to READ everything, lol), but I probably wont be able to get on but every few days from now on. But anyway, just send it to me, and I'll be happy to take a look.
