question about paragraph coding in blog section

I started a blog to record for me and anyone else interested my experience as a newbie keeping a tomato frog, and for some reason the paragraph breaks will not behave. the regular <p> and </p> isn't cutting it. The info on the page says it's automatic, but one look at my page will convince you otherwise. Anyway, if anyone knows the secret (as my coding knowledge is just this side of zilch), I'd appreciate it.

now it should work. btw, you can add pictures to your blog, just upload it to the gallery and then link them.
