These little fellas are in need of a new home but I dont know what species they are and what there needs may be.They are labeled as Fancy tree frogs. The green one has greenish grey eyes but has the sides and leg coloration of a red eye tree frog. The striped one is the coloration shown in te pic all over from what I can tell.Thx. Thx for the ID on the clown, thats him for sure! The green one does have markings very much like a red eye but no red eyes and a different looking face.I didnt get a very good look at him.

It turns out the other one is a tiger leg tree frog.I thought that was in this thread .Can the 2 coexist?Assuming they both can take the same conditions, well planted viv, high humidity, same diet, temp?

would not be one i would suggest, tiger legs are quiet delicate, and from what i can remember are from different locations although without referencing i could be wrong. requirments would be different though.
mixing is not something i am for, although SOME mixes are possible it should be left to very experienced keepers that have a very good knowledge of the 2 species being mixed. some though are just not worth trying.

Ive done quite a bit of refferencing of both of these. The habitat and food requirements seem identicle .Same humidity, temp lighting.Im at a loss to find a big difference in there needs. They even come from the same geography, central and south america,I know that alone does not make for good enough for cage mates, but everything else seems to jive.

well lions and zebras need the same light, heat, humidity but you would not mix them! most frogs from the same regions will need the same temps ect as they live in the same place, and 99% of frogs eat the same things, still does not mean they will be a good mix, one walks and one jumps, so there is the first difference in the 2 species that could lead to stress in one or both of them.
you need to have kept the 2 species seperate that you are considering BEFORE you even think of trying them together. if you have no experience with either of these how are you to know when something is wrong?
again i would well avoid mixing these as i am fairly sure it will not be very succesful, and will just lead to stress and illness.
