What are you using for water filtration?

Plants,
I've never had a problem with water quality. I have Salvinia and duckweed filtering the water, as well as moss, and larger Marginal plants who have extended their roots throughout the water. I wouldn't drink it, but the water has never tested high in Nitrates. At one time I had crushed coral in there and that had pushed the pH to 8! I got rid of it and the pH is now back to a neutral 7.

That looks very nice ! Are there others types of plants that filter better than the 2 you mentioned ?

Anubias, Cryptocorynes, and other Aroids do well with wet feet, and will no doubt help support the water.

Thanks! What kind of darts did you get. I couldn't make it to White Plains this time, and I was a little dissapointed in July(or was it June??) with the limited amount of frogs they had. But I'de be willing to go again. How was it this time?
