Default 20x12x20in. custom viv

Hello

My name is Kevin and this is my first post on this board. I figured i'd post a couple pics of one of my vivs and see what everyone thinks. This tank will be home to my red/orange vents when they get a little bigger.

i realy like the water feature in this viv, you can see it in the bottom right. the water trickles out of hollow stump into a small pond.

Thanks for looking.

Kevin

Wow, really nice viv! I see you have an Alocasia in it. THose grow big, so you viv must be pretty tall! What plant is that with the red leaves? WHat type of lighting are you using? I really like that tank.

Welcome to Vivarium Forums!
thanks.

the tank is a total of 20 in tall, but with the false bottom and substrate there's probably about 16 inches of air space. i actually have two species of alocasia in there, the "black velvet" and the "polly". the black velvet is some what low growing for an alocasia. it has stayed about the same height for the past eight months. the polly grows very tall, i take them out when they get too big and a new shoot pops up soon after.

i'm using pc lights on that tank, its the only way to maintain good color. the plant with the red leaves is a fittonia hybrid

thanks for the feedback.

Kevin
