thanks.
shes got 3 hides 1 in the cold end under the plant, 1 in the hot end and a moist hide (the brown thing in the corner lol)
Im hopefully getting another plant to go the other side soon and a few other bits like a log etc but had to stop for now due to lack of money but bought the esentials for her.
Thanks

i would get rid of that exo terra and get her an aquarium, leos need horizontal space more than vertical... and a fall from the top of an exo could kill her...

Hi
Its not a exo terra, wish it was tho. its only just over a foot tall so about the same as an aquarium.

you can believe what you please, but that is not enough floor space for a leo. How is the enclosure heated? and again, I would suggest that you get a longer rather than taller enclosure...

p.s.
don't ask for input and opinions if you are just going to argue the responses. Not trying to sound arrogant... but I do know what I am talking about...

im not arguing im just telling you how big it is, i did alot of research before i comitted to buying one and 2ft by 1ft by 1ft is quoted on alot of websites as being ample for 1 leo. It is heated by a heat mat under half of the tank and its controlled by a thermostat. So what size would you recomend for one leo possibly 2 as i may get her a friend, I want the best for them.
cheers

after hitting 18 forums, care sheet pages and other sites around the web a 10 gallon tank is all thay say is required for a single Leo. this imho is just silly but EG isnt wrong going with the info he was either directed to or told by somebody at his LPS, If an adult will hit the 8-12 inch mark i wouldnt settle for anything less then something 2 feet longer and 1 foot wider then the maximun adult size for any animal im keeping that fits into that size range. just my 2 cents
