I have to ask because I would like to find my Crestie a mate, can adults be housed together?
Obviuosly you have experience with them sucessfully.
The "experts" at Petco use the same general rules for all of their repitles.

You can keep females together, but only one male can be in the vivarium. I have had 2 females and a male in a heavily planted vivarium for almost 2 years. So far I have 6 babies, and 6 more eggs incubating. Crested geckos are very easy to care for, as they can survive at room temperature. They eat fruit flavored baby food with vitamin supplements, and crickets. Very cute, low maintenance, and breed very easily. I am starting to think that I may keep some of the female babies and get another male to start a second breeding group.

The eggs are put into a plastic bowl of moist perlite, covered with damp moss, covered with perforated piece of foil, and kept in a shoebox at room temperature. They will hatch in about 75-90 days.

Is the sex and incubation determined by temp like in Leopard Geckos?

From what I have read on some other boards, it seems that temperature doesn't make a difference in sex. Incubation times will increase at lower temperatures from say 65-70 to up to maybe 90 days. I don't really know how long any of my eggs have taken to hatch, as I only check for eggs every 4-6 weeks. I tore down my tank to put in a new background last weekend and found 2 more eggs. They look pretty large, so they may hatch soon.

About 5 weeks ago I took out all the rocks and branchs in my vivarium, and found 6 eggs. 2 of them were a lot bigger than the other 4, and 2 days later they hatched. The babies are doing well in a 5 gal. tank at the moment. The first 2 babies I found almost a year ago are close to full grown now and I have them in an Exo-terra enclosure. If I keep having babies at this rate, I am going to set-up a new Vivarium. Right now I am trying to figure the best way to offer them for sale.

I am stocking my 10g paludarium/vivarium and was thinking of adding a crested, will they get along with other animals like newts or frogs?
