Default Question about mist foggers

Ave,
I was considering buying an automatic mister for my vivarium, but it was a little spendy for my tastes. I own a few of the mist foggers with the color changing leds that you see powering the fancy humidifiers in the mall novelty shops, and considered using it for a cool effect, but upon touching the exposed ceramic disc that vibrates, I was met with a sharp pain, and decided it would probably seriously injure or kill the poor hapless frog who decided to roost on it. Needless to say, I decided against using it. Well, I was wandering the herp aisle at my lps today, and what do you think I saw? A mist fogger. I looked at the package, and the picture was identical to the units I own, although it probably has no led lights. And keeping with lps practices, was marked way up at a price almost three times as high as the price I paid for my units ( I should mention I got mine on "the bay of E" for less than ten bucks apiece for any interested). I suppose that if these mist foggers are being marketed for use in vivariums, they might be alright to use, but I'd rathe have the opinions of those who've tried.
So, to all who have tried: Will a mist fogger harm my firebellies, or is there an effective way to make it safe? Thanks, and Vale, Cody

The vibrating disk will kill any frog that come in contact with it. you need to find a way to "keep the disk out of the reach of children" Use some screen or something that does not look terrible and can be easily removed by you to block froggy access.

I was thinking about using some wire hardware cloth to do just that. When I touched the disk for my own research, my entire finger hurt for almost an hour afterwards lol. I saw it right there in the store, and was really skeptical about the whole thing, as it was packaged by a herp supply company with little pics of frogs all over the box. I sure hope that it comes with warnings about usage, or even it's own cover. Thanks!
