a large tall viv like that could have tons of possibilities.

are you inerterested in frogs, sals, newts, lizards, turtles, something big, a community of small animals?

you want some aquatic animals and some terrestial? do you want them all to be both?

if you give a little better general idea of what type of animals you would like i could definatly make some reccomendations. ive been wanting to set up a 180 (all glass' 180 is 6x2x2) so ive got tons of ideas for herps.

aslo, LMK what your experience level is. have you kept any sensetive animals? reef aquaria? dart frogs? chameleons? etc....

im looking forward to seeing this take shape!!!

With running water like that I would definetly go for some mantellas (by themselves though). THat is, If I could keep it cool enough.
Maybe water dragons. Anoles, geckos.

i have years of experience with most herps, i am a breeder by trade and also work in a reptile rescue centre one day a week and a reptile shop on another day, i am wanting to set this up as a purely personal thing (nothing to do with my profession) and as i see so many different species of herp on a daily basis im struggling to decide what i want, im probably thinking a community of small animals
i have no put no thought into this as the tank was with a rescue water monitor that i was supposed to be taking in but i have arranged a zoo to take it in, that leaves me with the tank and no ideas, not an ideal situation as i like to have a mental image of what i want,
basically im just after a rough idea of what you guys would keep in it if you were to set one up, hopefully that will get my imagination going

i would definatly go rainforest. if you utilize the height and stay away from paludarium a nice group of P. klemmeri would be really cool. if you do the deep water and take away the height i would go with some PDFs. the leucs Marty mentioned stand out great in planted vivs and are really bold.

with a tank that size i would try and do some seperate water areas. maybe some deeper than others with little streams connecting them. you could almost do like a marsh or riverbank type tank and have the water flow from one end to the other. it may make a cool flow through the streams with some creative diversions.

something else to consider would be elevated pools that then fall into lower ones before emptying into your main water body. this always gives a real naturan effect IMO. good luck and defiantly keep us posted as to what you decide.

be sure to place the elevated pools near the back or you'll get splashback onto the front glass, which over time will accumulate minerals, which won't wash off
