ideas on viv for a T.Blondi tarantula?
would like any ideas on how to build a vivarium for my half grown female theraphosa blondi. i would like it to be ideal so i need to know what the best size, shape, plants and all that would be.

I needs to be at least 24" X 24" and tall. Tall becouse you are goung to want enough soil depth so she can burrow. I would go as big as you can afford within reason. Female tarantulas dont venture more than afew feet from thier den in the wild so I would say 36"L X 24"W X at least 24" tall would be ideal. You will probably want 8" to 12 inches of soil for a good burrower like T. Blondi, just watch your humidity and you should be fine. do alot of reasearch on how they live in the wild and what the geography is like in Veneswala (I know its not spelled like that!)
