HI, i was just wondering about mushrooms, sometimes my whites tree frog cage gets them, i clean them out but if i leeft some behind, would they be dangerous. there just brown common mushrooms
Nothing wrong with the mushrooms in the tank. I consider them a treat when they pop up. I love seeing them. Problem is the ones I get never last more then a day or two. Just make sure you don't eat them
I have "dry" vivarium housing Crested Geckos. There is a false bottom of gravel under a potting soil/coconut husk chunk substrate. I tend to keep the substrate somewhat drier now, but in the past if it got damp for extended periods the same type of mushrooms would "pop-up" on occasion. I always took this to be a good sign of a viable micro-climate, and fertile growing conditions.
