Default New guy from Los Angeles Ca.

Hello everyone my name is Joey and i am here cause i want to learn how to build a Paludarium. I have a 140 gallon tank that i am going to use. I am not new to Reptiles, i have kept them my whole life (im 27) but i am new to keeping live plants and basicly a mini eco system. Well i hope to learn alot well im here and hoping there are some very helpful people here to lend a hand.

my first suggestion would be to save yourself the headache and do a practice palu for your first attempt. a 10 gallon would be perfect and you'll learn a lot you can apply to the larger setup. not only that but you can purchase plants and let them grow in in the smaller setup and hopefully save yourself some money that way too.

That is a good idea. Thank you very much, that will save me a headache cause my biggest worry was getting everything set up and then messing up some how and have to tear it all down.

you'll probably have to tear something down in the long run anyway... we all eventually do. don't worry so much about that, more about understanding enough to feel confident prior to doing a big project so you don't waste immense amounts of time and money.
