i bought a bearded dragon about 6 months ago and she hasnt gotten any big, her belly and tail is all thats changed at all, shes the same size as what would be called a baby, i dont know if this is normaly but i think she was a runt and just never grow, im thinking of selling or trading her for another beardie, i already have one bigger one shes also about 6 months old and is getting to be a big girl but i had to put them in seperate cages because the size difference was to much,
i just want to know if this happens to some beardies, she would be Great for someone in a small apartment that cant house a full size one.
what size of enclosure is she in?
What does her diet include?
What kind of supplements is she getting?
What is the cage temp??
Does she have U.V.? when was the bulb last changed??
aaaand finally, do you have any pictures of her??
what size of enclosure is she in? think its 20 gallon but ill double check
What does her diet include? collard greens, crickets, sometimes a few meal worms she dosnt really like them so she almost never gets them, sometimes carrots and apples chopped finly.
What kind of supplements is she getting?calcium sometimes on crickets maybe twice a week, and bearded dragon dust on collard greens once in a while.
What is the cage temp?? basking spot is 110ish
Does she have U.V.? when was the bulb last changed??used to but ive seperated the two dragons i have and its in my other vivarium, i wanted to but her in but not working out, only been like 2 weeks with out u.v.
aaaand finally, do you have any pictures of her?? Yes ill go get them and post them
a 20 gallon will be 24 x 12 x12 (inches). Each beardie needs at least a 50 gallon enclosure, with lots of floor space, height isn't as important.
calcium should probably be daily for a growing beardie
Definitely needs U.V, Constantly.
not big enough...
for 2 beardies, the absolute smallest I would go is 48 x 24.Or, you could house them individually.
If you can't afford to have that big of a tank, or a second tank with all of the necessary equipment, then you should not get the second beardie...
hi all, this is the viv i want to use for 2 beardies its 48" 19" 21" 60gals will it be big enough for two, (male/female) or will i need two seperate vivs thanks

I wouldn't keep them together, it's a lot of stress on the female if you want to have two beardies, in one enclosure, get 2 females and a larger enclosure.
male/female will inevitably result in eggs...are you set up for breeding??? incubator, u.v., heat, food(alot of cash to feed these little buggers) etc for the hatchlings? do you have a market to purchase the babies?? all things to think about!
