Default texas blue spiney lizard?

has anyone ever heard of these guys? i got one the other day after an unfortunate situation that involved an escaped desert kingsnake and an unlatched Savannah monitor lid... needless to say in the end i had a 60 gal tank that needed an inhabitant and still couldnt find my kingsnake. anyway i got me one of these texas blue spiney lizards and was wondering if anyone had any tips on them like what they like to eat and the likes it is a very kool lizard and for being wild caught is incredibly friendly, if you can get ahold of him he will just chill in you hand and typically trys to make his way to your shoulder to hang out there and doesnt want to let go when you try to put him in his tank. i have tried to find some info on the web but there isnt much out there i pretty much have found that they are from the texas/oklahoma area ( duh!) and are arboreal again any more info would be great thx

Default You may already know this...

i used to live in texas and aquired one for a little while but i found out from a reptile expert that they like mesquite trees and grounds coverd in sticks and grass. they usually run away when they hear something ( i think it is great that yours doesnt!) they like beetles and other insects. i always fed mine crickets. but eventuall i got 2 red ear sliders and had to get rid of him. but they are wonderfull pets!!
