Those crickets are a little more expensive after shipping, but if they don't chirp, it's worth a couple extra dollars! I think it came out to around 22 buck there for the black ones, and it is 20 bucks (includes shipping) at the place I linked to, in case anyone wants to know.

Yeah, shipping with Crickets Direct is $11.87.

I will definitely let you guys know when they arrive. The company only ships Monday-Wednesday, so I've got a bit longer to wait...

I received brown crickets from this seller. I was very disappointed in this purchase. When I asked him why he only has photos of black cricets all over the website he said "they are just pictures." Not sure what that means, but just so you guys know, this purchase was a bust.

I took a look again, and I bet that is the same picture, over and over again resized. If you have to order again, the place I gave a link to is cheaper, not by much, but they are cheaper. I haven't used them yet, but they are the cheapest I have been able to find, since the shipping is included in the price.

what size do you get, smaug? the ones i get all chirp, but only when they are sexually mature. It is a mating call. If you get them young enough and feed them before they get bigger, then you don't have to worry about chirping.
