Right now, she's really emaciated! This is the worst I've ever seen her ever, she won't eat. She really likes live pinkies but she'll eat the frozen ones after thawing... But the last two I've given her she didn't eat. I thought she did but I cleaned her place the other day and found them scattered here and there. So I got some Jump Start (can anyone tell me more about this stuff?) and it says it will make her gain her appetite back. I'm kinda scared though, she's really sickly looking.

To further answer your question, she's about 5in snout to vent and 12 total. If you google image "Basiliscus vittatus" you'll get a good idea. Right now she's in a 25g and I'm putting a 35g together. Ultimately, I'd love to have her in a tall, deep paludarium but I'm gonna build that one step at a time while she's in the 35.

Any advice on any of the above mentioned subjects by anyone who knows anything at all would be indescripably appreciated.

Would you be able to show us some pics you took or from the web of their species, thanks! They sound really interesting.

Those are native to the area I live in. In fact Chomper was caught in one of my patrons backyards. The only reason they caught him was because he had been injured. His spine is injured just in front of his hind legs. As a result, his hind legs don't work too good. Otherwise I'dve turned him loose.

She was a Basiliscus vittatus. See post #11. She was doing real well for a year and a half, but she wouldn't eat the last 3 pinkies I gave her. I tried Jump Start and she LOVED it. After each mouthload, she opened up for more, but I didn't want to give her too much on the first feeding. To no avail, she died that night. Sigh. Well, I better ask while I'm here, has anyone else had problems feeding? If so, how did you all get them back on track?
