Red efts

Hi, I am a new member but not new to herpetoculture. I have in the past kept and bred various darts and currently have a male Sambava panther chameleon. I am in Pennsylvania visiting my grandkids and they found a red eft. I set up a proper terrarium for him but i am a bit perplexed concerning food items.
I tried re-hydrated freeze dried tubifex w/o success and pinheads and other small feeder are unavailable around this area. I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks for your time.
