Ok, so I just got three Gouldian finches. Now, Im a little lost as I don't know what to do with an animal you don't put in a fish tank
Is it possible to create a sufficiently well ventilated vivarium for birds? An aviarium? Or are they just to messy?

I would say too messy and need too much vetilation. Hmmm? Ya know a reptarium screen cage one of the big ones like 100+ set up vertiacaly with the removable pan in the bottom might be usable but I dont know if the decreased visibility would stress the birds, make them feel more claustrophobic. PLus the amout of droppings and seeds thrown around you couldnt realy make a more permanent viv type setting. also that screen might be hard to clean feces off of. Id vote no go on this one. sorry
