Default Help with leaky misting system!

I have a misting system that I just bought and am trying to set up, but all the connections are leaking! I have the Lucky Reptile Super Rain Mist System shown here:
Lucky Reptile

The connections are spraying water everywhere when I turn it on and no matter how much I push the tubing in and how hard I pull them out (for the teeth to grab onto the tube), they still spray. I even cut the tube ends to make sure they are smooth and flat, not at a diagonal cut and this didn't help either. I know there is an air leak because when I turn it off, the water starts leaking out of the nozzles. If there was a sealed system, the water would stay inside. I have used these types of connections before with pneumatic air valves at work, but never with water and never had a problem. What am I doing wrong? I am typing this with extremely sensitive and painful fingertips at the moment if......

I built my own misting system and only use barbed fittings, i actually have never had much luck with the " Push fitting " type of setups. if the tube gets streched to much the ID and OD change to much and leave small gaps for the leakage you speak of. you could try silicone tape to seal off the conection sites then use a hair dryer to kinda shrink wrap the tape around it. or hell use silicone itself.. Id hit up the hardware store and buy yourself some new fittings with barbs, if you have a Homedepot type place around or any place that sells Irrigation equiptment. as for the dripping nozzles you need a tighter head used for a higher pressure systems as yours will drain till the pressure equalizes in the tube and containment box. Hopefully somebody with more XP can jump in and help you out better then i can, only built 2 DIY misting systems so far

If you set up the system as per the instructions and it doesn't perform the way it's advertised then maybe consider returning it?
