So I picked up a 60second set, 2 part epoxy... when they said 60 seconds they weren't playing. I actually had to get the epoxy all the way thru the 3" tip of the epoxy applicator in 60 seconds before the entire tube set. stupid thing. why make it mix acrosss that much tube if i have to keep it flowing constantly... not good for a small precise job like this... maybe if I intended to smear it across a huge surface I would be happier with this crap...

but I digress...

It's holding superbly. I have no doubt that this joint will withstand the test of time.

and so while i'm at it.. here is the old tank where it sits.

and the new one in it's place.

I'm realizing it will look better with some art on the walls. redecorating sucks.

I have decided to simplify my intentions for the fans(for the 3rd time now) I am simply going to wrap them in mosquito netting, and silicone one side to the glass top pointing at the 2 seams of the front panes of glass, at a 30 degree angles(30 deg to the front glass). I think this will make the best circulation without blowing a breeze through my trees, keep my glass clear, and keep them out of the frogs reach. He has been ALL over my10 gallon, but I've never seen him walk upside down on the glass top, so I think this is the safest bet.

Looks like it's going well.

I haven't seen my TF's ever stick to the cover and walk upside down either...

truely amazing thing about the GTF is not how incredible all of the blues, oranges, reds and yellows are when they come out... but how when they tuck in to sleep, you don't see anything but green. This guy has some pretty impressive colors, but when the light is on, he hops up on 1 leaf and you can't find him in a 10 gallon because he covers it all up so well.

heres a better shot of his sides.
