Default New tank, just finished.

I hope this is the right forum to be posting this, if not could a mod please move it.

Thought I'd share what I've been up to today, planting this. I first built in this tank(18 inch tall hex tank) just as an example of what you can do in a small and difficult space, which died within a week(but looked really nice for that week!), this is the third rebuild and I hope it lasts longer!

Its a temporary light while I get the hood sorted.

Nice looking tank. I like hex tanks. What are you putting in it?

I've finaly named him, after 7 months, Chac. All but one of the plants are showing growth and im getting a little moss in where I seeded spores(not much mind, too wet for kyoto which was all I could get - anyone have suggestions or links for tropical spores? One of the bits of wood is sprouting an unknown species though). Permantent lighting was sorted last weekend and he went in thursday.

Pics arent great but its difficult to get a clear shot.

Fraid not, the camera was delivered just as I was putting the finishing touches on - its pretty standard, false bottom and pump housing from egg crate, topped with plastic sheeting and cork, peat plates and wood siliconed around it all.

awesome tank! I particularly like the cork bark BG and fogger. The TF is a cutie! Great work!
