LMAO sounds like an idea... I was thinking about starting a bug business anyway... ::giggles:: It would be 100% profit anyway, but if I charged shipping like they do, I think I could be a millionaire in a matter of weeks, even if I only get an order a week, lol... I've been on cricket sites that charge more for shipping than they do for the crix... unbelievable... Especially since the site I am planning to use charges 20 bucks for either 500 or 1000 and it includes shipping... That total amount is cheaper than the shipping for almost everywhere else...

Earthworms generally do not do well in tanks ... soil temps are usually too warm.

Mine have been doing fine for over 5 years in one tank, the others have plenty also.

The kids who see the tanks , actually seem to like the Worms more because they see them easier than the Geckos

Really? I disagree. I have LOTS of worms in my tanks. They do VERY well. They always have. Generally, when I redo a tank, I find lots more worms than I added to begin with. My dragon tank is high temp, and they do very well in there too. I have found several when replanting plants.

I am from SC, and generally in the summer, the worms crawl OUT of the soil and crawl around on top, where it is even hotter (I can foresee someone saying something about them coming out because it is too hot in the ground, but simply sticking a finger in the dirt will show anyone that the temp outside is much higher than the soil temp). The health of worms seems to me to have more to do with the moisture level and what they are eating (if you are feeding feeder worms).
