I so want to start a colony of these for feeding my Leopards and in the future some scorpions. One day. do you use them as feeders or pets? they are a great roach all around!

I'm not sure if those are the same as the ones we have flying around everywhere in here in Texas but we kill'em on sight in my house.
Their just too big for my little GTF's.
My kid and wife won't go near em so I'm usually called in to take care of it with a shoe...
The ones we have around here we call tree roaches. Not sure if they're the same though. I wonder if all the lizards around my house eat them??
I've got these pretty lizards quite literally everywhere around my house...

B. dubia is probably not what you're finding in Texas, unless someone has a colony that isn't well contained....

I recommend setting up a colony for all your feeding needs, save only the smallest of critters... nymphs are ~.25".... They breed fast, have a very light smell, live long, don't climb, or fly, and are actually cool bugs to boot.

Thanks They are both feeders and pets. I set a couple adults up in cages, and the rest stay in the breeder bins. Some of the best feeders btw.

Not sure what species your seeing flying around you house in Texas alex1976. Anyways, those are some cool geckos that you get to see in the wild.

I agree they're the best. I've never been happier with a feeder colony of insects. I feed them to all my lizards as a staple. From my tiny desert night lizard to my large southern alligator lizard.

Has anyone had any luck feeding these to frogs? I have a trio of White's Tree Frogs, and at least one of them is not a picky eater, the other two have only eaten crickets.
