Default Ambystoma opacum

I have recieved a second mole salamander. Well, I'm happy!
Here is a pic of it.

And this is the first 1 I have had since april

I'll keep them together hoping that they are opposite sex. They may actually never encounter one another as they have chosen homes on opposite sides of the viviarium.

Coolness! I have an empty 55 and a new tiger salamander. How is your tank set up?

Hey,

My tank is setup as a woodland type with a pond in the center that measures 1 foot long by 1 foot wide, and three inches deep at max. height.
My substrate is sand followed by drainage layers(gravel and expanded clay pellets) followed by jungle mix soil. I've got caves in there too for them to use as hideouts.

I use a zoomed 501 external filter cansiter to filter the pond water and to give it a current.
