When i say waterdog are you talking tiger salamander larva, they can stay in there larve form for over 2 years and in rare cases they become neotic (but this is unlikely) you could in theory possibly speed up the process through various means such as lowering water levels and upping the average temp 1or 2 F but neither of these work all the time and in some cases can result in stress and i would recommend u just wait.

also what do u mean by a water feature, do u mean in a morphed tigers enclosure or the larva stage?

You mind me asking where you got the "water dogs" at? Like an online source, etc? Just curious.

If your super impatient and do not want the waterdogs at all. You could return them or sell them on the classifieds (or just keep them) and buy a all ready morphed tiger salamander. But I don't know how rare those are...you tell me
