ever check them out under a blacklight? it's cool to see them glow.

disclaimer: this is not an acceptable way to provide light. it is merely that the animal does glow but blacklight exposure should be kept to a minimum as with any other animal for obvious reasons.

For obvious reasons? I used blacklights for a while when I couldn't afford standard UV bulbs...

i think so... they can be stressful to the eyes. almost blinding in a way.

I was watching Croc hunter years ago when they found a scorp during the night and he put a black light under it and it was glowing. if i remember he mightve said something like....If you look at it to long you'll hurt your vision something like that
