Talking She's a Star now! LOL

Ok had a spare webcam (has it's own built in server) and it's now pointed at my Redtail Boa's tank (temp till I build her big 3't X 4'D X 6'L new home). So I guess she's a lil Star of her own. LOL

BTW I was just messing around. Not like alot of people will want to watch a Snake just crawl (slither) around. Well some may who knows!

BTW she's most active after about 10pm (as most snakes are).

Hope you all get a good laugh because I do just watching her at times, she's not the most gracefull snake around!

Opps forgot to add link!

Aglaia's Cam

It any ask you to install a ActiveX viewer. It's safe and part of linksys's internal server software. Oh yea and you can resize it just to the left of the video.

seems to me that link is for viewing her yourself. to view anything you need a login and a password. i'm thinking (i could be wrong here) it's your admin username and password to maybe your router. i would not give that away if i were you.

anyway, when i click on the link here is what i'm getting...

Naw at that screen you just click VIEW VIDEO. I kow linksys could have done better with the internal server software. There is no way to do a direct link to the Video Stream. Stupid I know. but if you got that screen then you got past the AcitveX addon to view it. Try again and click View Video. Also to the left of the video once it some up you can bump up screen size.

And yea it does have a server software very much like a Linksys router for setup. LOL I've changed all passwords so all's good. But in a way you are right I can set it up so that only people I set up an account can view the cam (Login).

It's an IE only plug-in, you can install it in IE then go to firefox and use IE tab plug-in to view it.
