Lightbulb How do i...?

now see this is what i really want to do!
has anyone got any helpful tips on helping me build a wooden vivarium for a corn snake?
i'm not sure if it would be wise to make it out of wood but i think it would look better and i love making things out of wood so...
how big, tall, wide should it be and what do i make the floor out of so that i can get the heat into the vivarium while ensuring the safety of my snake?
please help!

wood will make a fine home for a corn snake, i sometimes use melamine vivs for my snakes that dont require huge really high humidity levels and as such dont need misting as often (as melamine warps if wet),
i would say the minimum size enclosure for an adult is 48" x 13" x 18".
it would be even better if you could give them 48" x 24" x 24"

i use ceramic heaters controlled by a thermostat so im not 100% sure how well a heat pad would work with a wooden vivarium,

hi guys im new to the forum and I came on here for the same reason, i have a charcoal oakatee corn snake and her tank looks to plain and I been meaning to make something like a vivarium for so long. I have the room for a 48" x 24" x 24" tank in my closet but I need a list of the basic things I will need when my enclosure is done.
