I would say spread it out in as thin a layer as you can manage in the warmest room in your house and set up a fan to pass air over the surface of it. Unless you're living somewhere that has sun this time of year...

Use your oven at 300 and spread it in a thin layer on a baking sheet....20 mins and you have yourself a freshly dry baked batch of co-co mmmmm tasty

I've tried the air-dry method. not my preference as it gets carried away by the air currents. Baking it is the best way to dry out wet soil in my opinion. I use Grimm's recipee: 300*F for 20min. Stir, then bake again if not completely dry.

According to my little brother, baking coco fiber and cooking chicken on the stove = the smell of bacon lol.

Just be careful not to burn it... It's smells god-awful when it catches fire.

I don't know why, but I've never been comfortable putting non-food items in the oven... just some weird quirk in my brain I guess, considering all the other "gross" things I do on a daily basis....

Anyway, I always spread it thin like Epiphile said, with fan nearby for circulation but not on it to avoid fly-aways. And then I stir it by hand regularly. If it's warm and sunny out I like to sun-bake it outside. When space is an issue and I'm not in a hurry I shove it under a bed.

I'm almost 100% sure that cocofiber's ignition temperature is 180*C (356*F). heh. Science experiments really do come in handy lol.

ovens are known to be around 50*F off commonly... maybe not new ones with newfangled thingys but i'm sure that could happen too. add the +/- factor of so many degrees and you've got yourself a flash point.
