Default WTF's new vivarium setup

hey everyone! I just joined this forum site and am pretty impressed with all the knowledge everyone has to share! So I thought, to start out and meet everyone, I'd show you my new vivarium I recently set up for my White's Treefrog. I had fake plants for my treefrog before, so he seems to really enjoy all the live plants and moss. So I'd appreciate any pointers or critisisms you might have! Thanks and I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone!

Here's the pics! :

Oops I forgot to mention that I normally have a heat lamp on the top of the cage. I just took it off for the pics! Hope to hear from everyone soon!

Nice set up!!! All the plants make it look very lush! Your frog seems to like it-he was smiling in the picture!!! Cute. Do you have UV light on the frogs?

It is very nice.I have 2 concerns the first being the window behind the viv.If it gets alot of sun it could really overheat the tank,I have a viv in front of a window myself and I used a piece of cardboard as a backround and sunblock, the next is the spike moss,I dont know this for a fact but I was advised to remove it from mine due to it being likely to cause a blockage in the frogs digestive tract if ingested.Congrats on the nice work you did.

Thanks! yes i have a UV bulb. Also my tank doesnt usually get alot of sun, and i dont normally open the blinds to that window. If i do its on a not so sunny day or a cool day. But i might try the cardboard idea! About the moss, lately i've been mostly feeding my treefrog mealworms so i put him on the top of my tank and he hunts them there. I do this so the mealies dont burrow in the dirt of the cage. Is that ok to do?
Thanks again!

I suppose as long as he doesnt get any moss in his mouth it should be ok.

I thought I had posted to this... I really like the way your tank is set up, it looks very nice, very natural.

Lightbulb

Cool Tank it dose look nice and he likes it with that big old grin
i have water on the bottom my tank so if the meal worms hit water there done and frogs are still hungry . So to solve this problem I put a them in a water bowl in there with no water and just food. I think this will help u as far as the moss goes. My only problem is that my American Toad will sit in the bowl for days like a fat piggie and wait till I put more food in the dish for him. So I put it in there only when it comes time to feed them.
