My crickets NEVER stink... I don't know why everyone always says they stink... I don't get it... The veggies will stink when they go bad, but you can avoid that by not letting them go bad in the first place (it can kill them when it's bad anyway). Do yours smell bad? I wonder what I do that keeps mine from smelling?

They smell terrible

How do you keep your crickets? Are they just in a plain tupperware like mine or do you have them in a tank with substrate?

I switched from cricket to roaches a couple of years ago because of the stench, and the noise (which bothered my boyfriend way more than it bothered me...). Now my roach colony takes at least a month before it starts to smell at all.

So Froggsong, how do you keep your crickets from smelling? Maybe you're lucky and you're nose is just immune to it!

Yeah the noise is a big annoyance....I think I am just going to keep buying crickets that arent mature enough to make noise and just feed more of them to my frog. When do they begin cricketing haha???
